Splashback Tiling FAQs
How many tiles do I need for a splashback?
Measure the length and height of the area and add 10–15% for cuts and breakages (more for herringbone or patterned layouts). Better still, we'll measure it for you during the free quote.
Is a tiled splashback OK behind a gas hob?
Ceramic and porcelain tiles are well suited behind cooktops. Clearances for gas appliances are set by the appliance installer and regulations — we tile to suit.
Can you tile a laundry splashback on the same visit?
Yes — many customers do their kitchen and laundry together to save time.
