How long does it take to tile a bathroom?
A typical small-to-medium bathroom takes several days of tiling once the room is ready, because waterproofing membranes, adhesives and grout each need curing time. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
Do you waterproof the shower before tiling?
Yes. Tiles and cement grout are not waterproof on their own, so every shower and wet area gets a continuous waterproofing membrane under the tiles, following the manufacturer's system and good practice.
Can I supply my own bathroom tiles?
Absolutely — most of our customers do. Buy from any supplier; we'll tell you how many square metres (plus a wastage allowance) to order and check the tiles suit the area.
Can you tile over my existing bathroom tiles?
Sometimes, but it's rarely the best option in a shower. We'll inspect the existing tiles and substrate and recommend whether removal is needed so the result lasts.
